I am planning a Disney family vacation for 6 adults and 5 children ages 6 to 4. What is the best place to stay so we can all be together without breaking the bank?

    Hi, Joan!

Bringing a large group to Walt Disney World is always so much fun, especially if you've found the perfect place to call "home" for everyone while on your trip.

Because of all of the perks you'll enjoy by staying at Walt Disney World Resort, start there. Go Walt Disney World's website and click on "Price Your Vacation," allowing you to enter the specifics of your party and dates of travel. Select accommodations only, which will then give you a price of the stay for your entire party. You'll then see other accommodation options, too, which will give you an idea of the cost of some other options. I also change the dates of our stay, shorten it by a day, remove a weekend night, just to see what the effect these changes might have on our bottom line. A longer stay during an off-peak season may cost less than a short stay in a pricier resort or during a popular week.

Take a look at booking several rooms at Disney's All-Star Music Resort, as this  is a great Value Resort with lots of Disney Magic. At this resort, there are Family Suites, which sleep 6 Guests, include a mini-kitchen and two bathrooms. Two of these Family Suites may be the best way for your gang of 11 to stay together without breaking the bank. Currently, Value Season Weekday rates for these Suites are $198 / night per Suite. A similar stay at the spectacular, brand-new Disney's Art of Animation Resort is currently $249 / night per Suite.

Both of these resorts feature fantastic Disney theming throughout the properties, so you'll be sure to keep the magic going once you've left the parks for a little pool and downtime.

Send more questions about either of these properties, or about any facet of this great trip you're planning for 11; I love to help!
