We are planning on going to Disney for 2 or 3 days Jan 2013 with our 6 year old boy. What attractions and character dining or experiences should we really consider that he would love to do?

    Hi Andrea!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

I highly recommend visiting the Magic Kingdom, the crown jewel of the Walt Disney World Resort.  You can easily spend two whole days in that theme park.  After that, I think it is really guest dependent, but I would recommend Disney's Hollywood Studios, especially if your son is a Star Wars fan.  Attractions that shouldn't be missed include:
    • Pirates of the Caribbean in the Magic Kingdom
    • Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin in the Magic Kingdom
    • Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in the Magic Kingdom
    • Haunted Mansion in the Magic Kingdom
    • Jungle Cruise in the Magic Kingdom
    • The Seas with Nemo and Friends in Epcot
    • Turtle Talk with Crush in Epcot
    • Soarin' in Epcot
    • Star Tours in Disney's Hollywood Studios
    • Jedi Training Academy in Disney's Hollywood Studios
    • Toy Story Midway Mania in Disney's Hollywood Studios
    • Dinosaur in Disney's Animal Kingdom
    • Finding Nemo the Musical in Disney's Animal Kingdom

For a Disney Character Dining Experience, I recommend Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort followed by breakfast at Cape May Cafe or at Ohana.  I hope this helps! Please write back with more questions!
