we are planning a Disney cruise on the Wonder in the upcoming spring months. Are three any tips that can be shared? We will be traveling with my 4 year old, and elderly parents who have some health restrictions mobility wise.

Welcome to planDisney, Sarah! I'm glad that you found your way to us with your planning question.   Disney Cruise Line has lots of things to offer, from young Guests to the more mature crowd.
    • Once you are paid in full and your advanced booking window opens, you can reserve activities like adult-exclusive dining and Port Adventures.   Your advanced booking window is based on your Castaway Club membership status.  If you are a first-time cruiser on Disney Cruise Line, you will be able to book activities 75 days prior to your sail date.
    • Make sure you download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.  Once you are onboard the Disney Wonder and connected to the DCL-GUEST wireless network, you will have the full listing of onboard activities.  It will also list your rotational dining schedule and you can chat in the app with family members you are traveling with.  My mom enjoyed attending "Anyone Can Cook", which is a cooking demonstration conducted by one of Disney Cruise Line's chefs.  Onboard activities vary by sailing.
    • Your 4 year old can enjoy some interactive playtime in Disney's Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab.  On the Disney Wonder, there is Andy's Room, Marvel Super Hero Academy, Mickey and Minnie's Captain' Deck, and Frozen Adventures.   I suggest visiting doing Open House on embarkation day to get familiar with the area with your child.  Outside of Open House, you will not be able to enter the youth activities spaces.  When my son was younger, he hated to leave because he was having so much fun!
    • For some family fun, you can visit Goofy's Pool and watch Funnel Vision.  There will also be live shows every night, like Frozen, A Musical Spectacular.
Sarah, these are just a few tips.  If you have any other questions, my planDisney pals and I are happy to answer them.

    Happy Planning!
