Planning a Disney Cruise next year and will bookend it by adding days at Disney World before AND after. I want to buy a 3-day park hopper to use on either side but the span of time for non-consecutive days isn’t long enough. Can that be extended?

Ahoy there, Erin! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks a bunch for stopping by with your question. I'm delighted to see you here!

When you purchase a 3-Day Theme Park ticket with the Park Hopper Option, you are given a period of five days to use it. After this time, your ticket will expire and you will not be able to enter the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks. Unfortunately, this period can't be extended. However, there is still a way for you to visit the Theme Parks before and after your Disney Cruise Line adventure!

Erin, the easiest way would be to purchase a 1-Day Theme Park ticket and a 2-Day Theme Park ticket. I'm well aware that this is a little pricier than your original idea, but it is also the most affordable option you have. You could also think about extending your vacation and purchasing a Theme Park ticket for a longer amount of time, or you could even purchase an Annual Pass! However, these two options will cost you a lot more than simply purchasing two different tickets from the get-go.

I understand that this wasn't the news you were expecting to hear, but please don't hesitate to reach back out to us with any other questions you might have about your upcoming land and sea vacation. My friends and I are always available and more than happy to help! See you real soon!

    Warm hugs,
