Welcome Aboard, Bonnie!
I'm so excited that you're planning to sail with Disney Cruise Line. With all the enchantment aboard, you're in for a trip of a lifetime!
I'm glad you stopped by with your question about Check-In and Embarkation. When you complete your Online Check-In at
www.disneycruiseline.com , you'll be able to choose an "arrival time" for the day of your sailing. Though no one may board the ship until around 1pm, guests are welcome to arrive earlier. Terminals have restrooms and seating while you wait, and Captain Mickey and other characters will make appearances for photos and autographs before boarding! This is a fun time to get some really great pictures with your favorite Disney friends!
If you're running late for your scheduled arrival time, that's ok, as long as you arrive no later than 3pm - all guests need to arrive at the terminal at least one hour before sailing, and must board by 4pm. Plan accordingly, and you should be fine. My family likes to choose an early arrival time - we want to get onboard as soon as possible to start enjoying the fun! We usually make time for a yummy lunch and even some pool time before sailing away from the port.
Hope this helps! Please come back if you have any more questions while planning your magical vacation!
