    Hello, I am planning to take Disney cruise in Feb, 2025 from Orlando and our cruise will go to Islands such as Castaway cay & Bahamas. Will my wife be able to travel on an expired Green card with Extension letter? She has a Pakistani passport

    Hi there Hasan, and welcome aboard planDisney!

    Now when it comes to embarking on any voyage travelling to international destinations, having the appropriate travel documents is something that I always encourage everyone to look into acquiring first if they need it even before completing a booking. I highly recommend sailing with a valid passport whenever possible and when it comes to international or foreign passport holders, you definitely want to avoid any disappointment of being denied entry somewhere or not being permitted to debark the ship just for having inappropriate or inadequate documentation (which I've unfortunately personally witnessed with guests across my years of living and working at sea).

    • I personally recommend also taking a look at the website for the The Bahamas Ministry of Foreign Affairs about whether your wife will require a visa for travel. (It's also for this reason why I observe that many international guests choose to book their vacations with the help of a travel agent or a professional to help them navigate with the various nuances of the travel documents they require - especially if their travel party's situation is not quite as straightforward.)
    I hope that the Disney Cruise Line Cast Members can better assist you with this Hasan, and provide you with insight and hopefully some reassurance about what they'll require (as well as any steps you'll need to take) before you get on board. Here's hoping that you and your wife will get the chance to enjoy an excellent time enjoying Disney Castaway Cay on your upcoming voyage!
