I am planning for a disney cruise easter carribean. We have our 2 year old with us.I've herad that toddlers not toilet trained aren not allowed to swim in the kiddie pool, is there any pool that they allowed? And do i need to reserve for babysitting?

    Hi Cecilia,

Toddlers who aren't toilet trained (even in swim diapers) are not allowed in the pools for health reasons.  Of course, Disney Cruise Line wants even their littlest Guests to have a great time on vacation so you will find that all of the ships have a fabulous water play area specifically geared towards younger children.

Nemo's Reef on the Disney Dream and Fantasy is adorable.  So is Splash Zone on the Magic and Wonder.  Your child will love either one, and you'll love the fact that there is plenty of seating for parents to watch their children at play.

You will need to make reservations for nursery care.  Here are DCL's guidelines:

    Reservations

Founder's Reef Nursery is available at an additional charge and must be reserved in advance. Reservations can be made online up to:

    • 120 days in advance for Concierge and Platinum Castaway Club Guests
    • 105 days in advance for Gold Castaway Club Guests
    • 90 days in advance for Silver Castaway Club Guests
    • 75 days in advance for First-Time Cruisers

You can also make a reservation during the open house on Embarkation Day on a first-come, first-served basis. Because space is extremely limited, be sure to book your child's nursery stay early.

I hope this helps.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  Bon voyage!
