We are planning on going to Disney from August 26 to Sep 2, 2012 this is our first trip ever to Disney. We are from Canada. We have 2 girls 4 and 10 years old. I need help with what resort to pick for stay and what could be a good itinerary.

    Hello, Soha,

I'm excited to share with you that Walt Disney World has exciting new rooms called the Royal Guest Rooms at Port Orleans Riverside, which is a moderate resort placing it in the middle price range of rooms.  You can actually explore these rooms more by clicking here.  If your daughters like Disney princesses, this may be a perfect fit.

However, if you'd like other ideas, such as resorts on a lighter budget or resorts with more amenities and closer to the parks, let us know.  We are happy to share more thoughts about other resorts.  Also, make sure to look over the Special Offers since you may eligible for free dining.

As for itinerary planning, my go-to website is www.touringplans.com.  It truly offers everything and anything you need to know when it comes to touring the parks.  While it does have a small fee, it is a worthwhile investment in my opinion.

You may also want to look over all the different dining options and begin making reservations, especially if you'd like to dine with characters since those restaurants fill up quickly. I also like www.disneyfoodblog.com for additional information on Disney dining.

Happy planning!  Please let us know if you have any more questions.
