We are planning on going to Disney April 2014, when should we start booking our trip? There will be 6 adults and 5 children ages 5, 4, 3, 18 months and 15 months. Any advice?

    Hi Patricia,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! I think that it's never too soon to start planning for your Disney World Vacation. First, I recommend that you order the free Disney Vacation Planning DVD.

I suggest that you start by considering where you would like to stay. Are you thinking about staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, or somewhere else? I recommend looking at the Walt Disney World Resorts for the convenience of being right on the property, with included amenities such as Disney transportation and Extra Magic Hours. If you are looking for one home which could accommodate your whole group, you might want to look at the unofficial site, for vacation rentals near to Walt Disney World. If you decide on a Walt Disney World Resort, you can make that reservation now by calling 407-W-DISNEY (407-934-7639). At this time, you will be making a room-only reservation, since the Magic Your Way packages for 2014 are not yet released - the link will take you to information about the 2013 packages. The 2014 packages should be released later in the summer. When they are, you can call back to change your reservation to a Magic Your Way Package if you like.

I hope that this information gets you started on planning your vacation, Patricia. Please do not hesitate to come back and ask if you have more questions along the way!
