Hi, We are planning to have dinner on 31 Dec at O´hana and head to the beach to enjoy the fireworks. Staying ouside DW, do we have access to the beach or is it only for guests? In case I am not able to make reservations, can we still go to the beach?

    Hi, Sebastian!

New Year's Eve at Disney World sounds fantastic!   You are welcome to enjoy the beach at the Polynesian, even if you are not a resort guest.  This is a lovely viewing area for the Electric Water Pageant and fireworks from the Magic Kingdom.   What IS reserved for resort guests only is the pool area (must be a guest of the Polynesian.)

Make sure to book your 'Ohana dining as soon as you hit your 180 day booking window as tables will fill up fast!  Good luck, and enjoy the holiday season in Walt Disney World.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
