We are planning to make Dining Reservations in Disney Springs after the 5:30 Cirque De Soleil Drawn to Life show. It says "approx. 90 minutes", so can we get to a 7:30pm dining reservations nearby or do we need more time to exit theater, etc?

    Hey there,

Thank you for swinging by planDisney with this question about your visit to Disney Springs. Cindy, you have got to be excited about this upcoming show.

Cirque du Soleil is a longtime resident of Disney Springs which used to be named downtown Disney when it was first introduced. The shows have changed over the year, but the creativity is always going to be top-notch performances. The newest addition Drawn to Life show is one of the best rated Cirque du Soleil shows in history. The creativity in this story is magical and heartfelt, so I would definitely be ready if you are susceptible to the water works. It is a beautiful show and it does usually last 90 minutes give or take a few minutes, as it is a live performance and things can happen. It is worth noting there is no intermission during this performance. If you are looking to make reservations for 7:30 PM, I would certainly recommend one of the closer restaurants to Cirque du Soleil. Some of those restaurants that are in the vicinity are Jaleo, House of Blues, and Summer House on the Lake. These are within five minutes walking and you would more than likely make that time. If these restaurants are not on your list of dinner options, you should definitely make it for 8 o’clock or later. This will give you enough time to get to the location, and ensure you won’t miss your reservation time.

If you do end up staying in the area and are looking for a dessert option then I would definitely recommend Salt and Straw. This ice cream location has some of the most unique flavors I have ever seen. There are seasonal flavors as well as classic flavors that they always carry. You can get cones, cups, single scoops, double scoops ,milkshakes, and even pints to take home or back to your room. If you are looking for something a little lighter, then I will send you to my favorite. Amorrette’s Patisserie you can get plenty of items that are sweet and still light enough to not weigh you down. The 5-count of Macarons is perfect and travels really well in the tiny box they come in.

I hope you enjoy your show and dinner this coming fall. See ya real soon!
