Hi! I am planning our dining for Dec trip, and I am curious, what happens with Advanced Resvervations and the Christmas Parade? Will they just not let us make ARs at MK past a certain (parade friendly) time in December? We are not attending the Parade.

    Jennifer:

I'm assuming that you're talking about the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and its special parade.

The party officially begins at 7 p.m.  At that time, no one is allowed to enter the park without a special bracelet that is worn by party-goers who've purchased a ticket.  So, to eat dinner, you'll need to be in the park before then.

After that time, Cast Members will escort guests who do not have the bracelet toward the front of the park to the exits. I'm sure you would not be asked to leave your dinner, but without the bracelet, you certainly won't be able to ride the attractions and once outside the restaurant after your meal, might be asked to leave the park.

I'm sure that Disney is aware that some guests skirt the issue and may make dining reservations near the cusp of the party's start time, but I'd follow Jiminy Cricket and "let your conscience be your guide."

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
