Hi, We are planning to dine at Storybook Dining and our reservation is at 8:35pm. I see that the restaurant closes at 9. Will our time with the characters be rushed since we are arriving so late? Should we try to get an earlier reservation?

Hey there Terri and welcome to planDisney!

I'm so excited to hear you've booked Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White! The original Disney Princess and her friends are going to be so excited to see you and your family.  Plus you're literally dining in the middle of an Enchanted Forest. How much more magical could you get?

One thing I've learned about the Walt Disney World Resort is that it ain't over 'til it's over. If your reservation is at 8:35 PM you're going to get the same excellent service and high-quality magical experience you would have gotten at any other time of the day. For example, I had a reservation for Be Our Guest Restaurant not long before Magic Kingdom Park was set to close for the evening. All the Guests who were in the restaurant were served in a normal capacity and The Beast made regular rounds through the castle as usual. When we were done, the park had closed and we slowly made our way towards the exit taking pictures and basking in the ambiance of a twilit Cinderella Castle. Don't worry, Terri. Y'all eat drink and be merry!

Terri, I hope I've been able to put your mind at ease. Have an Enchanted Apple cocktail for me. It's not poisoned I promise. If you have any other questions, all you have to do is ask me. I'm happy to help!

    Happy planning!
