Welcome back to planDisney, Ashley!
Oh, I absolutely love dining at
California Grill! This is one of my favorite locations in all of
Walt Disney World.
There are so many wonderful options on that very special
menu, but the view of Seven Seas Lagoon and all of the magic that surrounds it always takes my breath away. That view, Ashley, includes fantastic fireworks such as
Magic Kingdom Park's
Happily Ever After. You can find times for Fireworks & Nighttime Entertainment on WDW's
Hours & Events Calendar.
Because you are dining at California Grill on a
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party night, the fireworks you'll see are from
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular. Typically, the Halloween Party firework fun begins around 10 p.m.; I like to be completely finished our meal prior to the start of the show, so I'll book a reservation to coincide with sunset, arriving just as the entire view begins to glow with the light of that golden hour. Glorious way to start your experience! For your late September visit, that sun sets a little before 7:30.
When finished with your meal, grab an after-dinner coffee, specialty tea, or cocktail and head to the observation deck, if available; dinner guests are welcome to view the spectacular nighttime display from there. What a wonderful way to wrap up your magical day!
Of course, lights are dimmed inside the restaurant at showtime, so you can easily book a later dinner and experience the magic of fireworks dining right at your table, too. This is truly one dining experience you'll remember for years to come. It's that special.
Ashley, as you put together your pixie-dusted plans for your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
