Planning our dgts 1st trip in Dec '13. Would like to start giving her gift cards for gift ideas. If we do this now, will they expire b4 we go, or will they loose their value? Thought it would be a good idea for her to have "her own money". Any id

    Hi Heather!

I am a huge fan of Disney Gift Cards!  In fact, I'm hoping I'm going to find some in my Minnie Mouse Christmas stocking in a few days - its already hung by my chimney with care.

I think giving your daughter her own Disney Gift Card to use is an excellent idea.  It gives her the freedom and independence to shop. It helps my boys make wiser choices on their souvenEAR selections because they understand they have a certain amount of money to spend.

Disney Gift Cards are valid for purchases until all remaining funds have been depleted from the card so there is no expiration date. There is no service fee for unused balances on the Disney Gift Card so they hold their value until you use them. They make excellent gifts for every occasion for Disney fans.

Please feel free to visit us as often as you'd like during your planning.  It is our pleasure to assist you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
