We are planning a Dec 2013 trip to WDW and a 7nt Disney cruise - how far out should we be booking? We need interconnecting rooms. We're coming from Aust so I don't want to miss out but my husband thinks it's too soon! Your advice would be great, thanks!

    Hi Jennette!

A land and sea Disney vacation....FANTASTIC!!!!  I would book your trip and connecting rooms as soon as the dates are released and the website allows booking.  Right now, I'm booking a cruise for May of 2103; a full year ahead of sailing.  Tell your husband that prices only increase as your sailing date gets closer.  I'm sure that he'll give you the go ahead as soon as he hears that....my husband did:)  Another reason for you to book early is that connecting rooms do tend to go faster than rooms that don't connect.  You are going during the holiday season; a very busy time for family vacations.

You are planning correctly Jennette.  I like the way you think!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.  I'm happy to help.  Have a magical sailing!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
