Hi Lerma! It sounds like you are excited to welcome 2024! I can’t think of a better way to kick off a new year than by being in the Disney Parks!
While details for the 2023 holiday season have yet to be announced, I can give you an answer based upon past holiday seasons! In previous holiday seasons, Guests are not required to have a “special” ticket to be in the Disney Parks on December 30 or December 31. Guests must have both a valid theme park ticket as well as a
Disney Park Pass Reservation for the park they wish to visit. “Special” tickets are needed for events such as Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Disney After Hours, etc. But, if the past serves as our guide, I don’t believe December 30 or December 31 will require a unique ticket!
Lerma, I just checked the
Disney Park Pass Reservation calendar. I see that all parks are currently available for tickets on December 30 and December 31! You are welcome to purchase your park tickets now and make park reservations for both evenings! It sounds like you have your heart set on being in the parks on both evenings! It's possible that these two popular nights will eventually reach capacity in the Disney Parks. You might consider making your ticket purchase and park reservations sooner rather than later!
You can continue to check the Walt Disney World Resort website and the Disney Parks Blog for additional information about the 2023 holiday season!
Information was just released this past week regarding the spookiest season of all – Halloween! So, it can’t be too much longer before we start to hear information about the most wonderful time of the year at the Most Magical Place on Earth! Happy new year, Lerma!
Happy Planning!
