    Planning DD's Sweet 16 trip with friends! Visiting MK on Saturday. Deciding btw BOG & 'Ohana (her absolute fav) for celebration dinner that night. Original plan was BOG for lunch and 'Ohana at dinner, but wondering if BOG for dinner would be more speci

    How exciting that you're planning a Sweet 16 Trip to Walt Disney World for your daughter! I really hope to do the same thing for my daughter in a year and a half.

    I've had the pleasure of dining at Be Our Guest for both lunch and dinner, several times each over the past 7 months. I absolutely love the atmosphere of the restaurant for any meal of the day. I've put your scenario forward to my own daughter who is currently 14 1/2 to see what she'd think. She 100% agrees that for a Sweet 16th Dinner she'd rather dine at 'Ohana and just visit Be Our Guest for lunch! She felt like the biggest difference at dinner was seeing and meeting Beast and that it's not enough of a reason for her to give up 'Ohana! (she'd happily eat at 'Ohana every night of our vacation given the chance and it sounds like your own daughter may feel similarly on that topic?)

    I say to go ahead and keep your daughter's favourite location as her Sweet 16 Birthday Dinner! Besides, who says that it's not fashionable to wear both a tiara and lei at the same time? Make that reservation and plan to enjoy a special Birthday Lunch at Be Our Guest on the same day.
