Planning DCL March 2011. Unsure if all 3 DD will be able to go. Will know beginning of May 2010. Can we book for the 2 of us now to hold room, and then add kids once their plans are finalized?

    Hi Kimberly,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  You can certainly book a room now and add the children later, however I will caution you that the ship's passenger capacity and the child-passenger capacity are not necessarily the same.  There are limits to the number of children that the kids clubs and programming can accommodate, so the "availability" to add children to your cabin may be affected by this.

I hope this makes sense, I know it is  a bit confusing.  Just figure it as the ship can accommodate X number of adults and Y number of children.  If the ship reaches the Y capacity before you add your children you could be out of luck!

So if you are looking to sail on a popular school-break week - I wouldn't wait too long to ad them!  May 2010 is still comfortably within the deposit refund time frame for a March 2011 cruise, so you could book them now and cancel in May if necessary.

    Hope this helps!
