I am planning 2 days for MK and 1 day each at Hollywood and Epcot. I am also going to spend one day resting or swimming mid trip. Should I split up the days at MK or do them back to back?

Hi Stephanie!  Personally I would try to split the Magic Kingdom days up but I think the most important thing for you to see is the calendar for the days of your vacation.  Check to see what days will be the best for you to see and experience all you want to do in the park and then make your decision.  For instance, if the Magic Kingdom has Extra Magic Hours on a specific day and you want to enjoy the park for an extended day then head there on that date.

Besides checking the calendars for the parks to see when the Extra Magic Hours are offered for resort guests you also will want to see when shows such as Fantasmic are offered in case you want to enjoy those. If you find your itinerary placing back to back trips to the Magic Kingdom it won't be awful either. I just like to begin and end with that special magic found in that park!
