Hi, there!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Megan. We're so glad you stopped by!
I am just thrilled to hear about the vacation you're planning. Your heart is going to melt when you see your
little ones experience the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort. I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it! When traveling with small kiddos, a stroller is a must-have. From one mom to another, rent a double stroller for your stay! Exploring the theme parks and Disney Springs requires a LOT of walking and little legs tire easily. My oldest son is 8-years old, and even he took a few rides in our double stroller during our last Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I think you'll find that your 5-year old will appreciate having a seat to rest in now and then. Do keep in mind that the stroller will have to be folded when you board a bus or boat. We love taking our City Mini Double Stroller to Orlando with us because it folds super easily and quickly, which makes accessing transportation a breeze. If you take the Monorail, you can keep your little ones in the stroller for the ride!
If you haven't quite hit your 180-day window to make dining reservations yet, you will soon. I highly recommend making at least one reservation for a
Character Dining Experience. It's the best way to make sure your kids get a great meal AND one-on-one time with their favorite Disney characters! Have you heard about
Storybook Dining at Artist Point? This brand-new Character Dining Experience at Disney's Wilderness Lodge looks amazing!
Please let me know if you have any other questions, Megan. I'd love to help you plan a magical stay!
