Hi Diane,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question.
First, you can definitely bring pool noodles, swim rings and other small pool toys and flotation devices into the pool(s) at your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. In addition, don’t forget that life vests are available at no additional cost at both your Resort as well as at both of
Walt Disney World Resort’s Water Parks.
I’ve visited Walt Disney World Resort with my son several times when he was a wee little guy, including a visit at 13 1/2 months old. I’ve got lots of advice for bringing a baby -
here’s some advice I gave another Guest about travelling with their baby. I’ve got lots of other tips too, but I’m running out of space to give them all to you!
The number one tip that I have to try as much as possible (in spite of the time change) to keep your little one on a similar schedule (for naps and meals) to the one that you follow at home. Heading back to your Resort hotel for a break in the middle of the day is essential with a little one, especially during such a long trip. Plus, it will allow your 14 year old to enjoy some splash time at the pool while the little one naps.
Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
