We are planning 9day/8night trip, and want a disney springs day. Will the dining plan be available for restaurants in Disney Springs?

Hi Robyne! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited that you're getting a headstart on your July 2024 vacation by bringing your question to us! Keep them coming. We are always happy to help!

Everyone is very excited that the fan-favorite Disney Dining Plan is returning, beginning with vacations starting on or after January 9, 2024. There are currently two options: the Quick-Service Dining Plan for Guests that like their meals more on-the-go, and the Disney Dining Plan, for Guests who'd like to sit down and savor their meals from time to time. With either choice, you get to pre-pay for your meals ahead of your trip so you don't have to worry about much when your trip actually gets here!

At this time, the Walt Disney World Resort website is showing that there are a bunch of restaurants in Disney Springs that will be participating in the Disney Dining Plan. To see which ones are currently listed, go to the dining page, click on the "All Filters" option to the right, and select your dining plan type. Then, in the "Sort by" field, select "Sort by Location." You'll then be able to see the restaurants currently listed as available to use with your particular dining plan for trips starting on or after January 9, 2024. Please note that offerings are subject to change.

Make sure to mark 60 days before your arrival date on your calendar. Guests staying at Disney Resorts Collection Hotels can make their advanced dining reservations for their entire trip (up to 10 days) at 6 a.m. EST 60 days before their arrival date. All other Guests will need to make their reservations one day at a time, 60 days before their intended dining date. My biggest tip is to make your hard-to-get reservations toward the end of your trip since you'll have a head start on those dates over those who are unable to book all of their reservations at once!

Robyne, you're going to have a wonderful visit to the resort filled with culinary delights. If you have any other questions, I encourage you to reach out again. Just like all of my fellow panelists here at planDisney, I'm always happy to help you make some magic on your next Disney vacation!

    Eat all the good stuff,
    Matt
