Hi! We are planning to take a 5 day Western Caribbean cruise out of Miami. Based on theming and weather, should we choose a Merrytime cruise in December, or a Marvel Day Cruise in February. Traveling with 4 adults and boys ages 11 and 9. Thanks!

    Ahoy, Erin!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I can't wait for you and your pirate crew to set sail on a Disney Cruise Line adventure! My parents often join my husband, my little buccaneer and me on our voyages with Captain Mickey at the helm. We love how there is something onboard for all of us to enjoy each day of our cruise.

Choosing an itinerary is such an important and FUN part of the planning process! You will love visiting the gorgeous ports of call throughout the Western Caribbean. Special Days at Sea and Holiday Cruises are so festive and fun! You're deciding between two incredibly-themed cruises. Temperatures in the Caribbean during both December and February should be warm, with highs in the mid to upper 80s - perfection!

In my opinion, setting sail on a Very Merrytime Cruise is the perfect way to to celebrate the holiday season! From the moment you step onboard, you'll feel the spirit of the season on every deck. If your two boys daydream about becoming part of the Avengers someday, they will love being onboard an itinerary with a Marvel Day at Sea! Spending the day meeting some of their favorite heroes (and villains), and participating in epic activities throughout the day, will be a cruise they'll never forget! My family would choose a Very Merrytime Cruise; however, if I had two superhero-loving boys, a Marvel Day at Sea would be our choice.

Erin, no matter which cruise you choose, you and your family will have an amazing time together! Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I can't wait for you to experience your festive or heroic voyage at sea!
