Hi there, Mike! Welcome back to planDisney! I love that you’re gearing up for a magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort. A 2 to 3-day adventure is plenty of time to sprinkle a little pixie dust and make some unforgettable memories, and I’d be thrilled to help you make the most of every enchanted moment.
If you have three days to soak up the magic of Walt Disney World Resort, I’d suggest starting with my personal fave:
Magic Kingdom. It’s the heart of the magic and the perfect place to kick off your adventure. Arrive early to make the most of shorter wait times in the morning, and be sure to experience iconic
attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, and Space Mountain. Grab a classic Mickey-shaped treat, enjoy the parades and shows, and end your day with the incredible Happily Ever After fireworks lighting up the sky over Cinderella Castle.
For your second day, head over to EPCOT or Disney’s Hollywood Studios, depending on your family’s vibe. If you’re all about world travel and futuristic fun,
EPCOT is a wonderful choice! With must-dos like
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and the spectacular nighttime show Luminous The Symphony of Us, it will be an enchanted day to remember! However, if thrills and movie magic are more your speed, Hollywood Studios is packed with excitement from
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to Toy Story Land, plus the thrills of Tower of Terror and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. It’s a park where you’ll want to soak in every moment, from morning rope drop to the nighttime
Fantasmic! show.
For your final day, I suggest a wild adventure at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It would be a beautiful way to wrap up your trip. Start the morning with a journey through
Pandora – The World of Avatar, and ride Flight of Passage while the crowds are still light. Stroll through lush trails, hop on Kilimanjaro Safaris, and experience Expedition Everest if you’re feeling brave. This park is a wonderful mix of adventure and relaxation, with shady spots to rest, unique entertainment, and incredible dining options. It’s the perfect peaceful-yet-playful way to end your magical getaway.
Of course, this is just a simple outline. You can swap parks around based on your favorites, availability, and what sounds most magical to you! And for more specific planning tips or a solid deep-dive, you know where to find us!
Sending you planning wishes and pixie-dusted adventures,
