We're planning an 8-day visit to celebrate a friend's milestone birthday. We're bringing some special bottles to enjoy during our stay. Are there any Disney Springs dining options that allow you to BYOB, with or without a corkage fee? Thanks!

Hi there, Alison, and welcome to planDisney!

Before we dive into how to make this the best celebration ever, I’d like to wish your friend a very happy birthday! I have celebrated birthdays, weddings, and more at The Most Magical Place on Earth, and it honestly doesn’t get any better than being there with your loved ones for such a special occasion.

Disney Springs is made up of many privately owned and Disney-owned restaurants, so I had to do a bit of digging to get an answer about bringing your own wine on property. Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante and Enzo’s Hideaway seems to be a popular (and perhaps only advertised) choice for BYOB at Disney Springs. These locations are in The Landing section of Disney Springs. I spoke to a friendly Cast Member there, and they confirmed that there is a $25* corkage fee for bringing your own bottle. (*Pricing is subject to change without notice.)

I also spoke to a Cast Member using the “Chat With Us” feature in the My Disney Experience App and was told that there is a spot (not at Disney Springs) where you may be welcome to bring your own bottle. If they are bottles of a brand the restaurant doesn’t carry (and is of equal or greater value than the least expensive bottle on the menu), then the California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort may allow them.

AN EXTRA GEM: Bringing outside adult beverages is not commonplace on Walt Disney World Resort property, so be sure to have an advance dining reservation to show where you’re headed. Also, I highly recommend reaching out to your desired restaurant to confirm with them that it is okay to bring your own bottle and to know their corkage fee.

I hope that this answer points you in the right direction, Alison. But no matter where you end up, I just know that it’s going to be an unforgettable time. When you’re visiting the theme parks, don’t forget to pick up free celebration buttons from your Resort hotel or at locations near the front of each theme park. This is a great way to commemorate the visit, and you never know what perks or smiles your party will get as you and the birthday friend go about your day wearing them! Revisit us here at planDisney if you any other questions!

    Magic always,
