Hi Josette!
At Walt Disney World there are so many resorts with different themes and budget levels, that it can be really hard to choose! If you love visiting Downtown Disney for dinner, I highly recommend
Port Orleans Riverside and
French Quarter. These resorts have the best of both worlds, exquisite themeing while keeping it in a moderate price range. One of the best parts is the relaxing boat ride down the Sassagoula River that takes you to Downtown Disney.
If you have any princesses in your traveling party, check out the new Royal Guest Rooms located in Port Orleans Riverside. Magical touches representing all of the princesses can be found throughout the room and the best part is the personal firework show on your headboard with a touch of a button. Since Port Orleans French Quarter and Riverside are sister resorts, guests are allowed to use the pools at either resort. Both of these pools are great and always get the seal of approval from my little ones. At the food courts, you can find standard fare plus a little Cajun/Creole inspired dishes.I always have to stop at the French Quarter for beignets, they are absolutely yummy!
If you are looking to snag a discount, I would suggest Port Orleans Riverside. The French Quarter is beautiful and quaint, but it is often excluded or given minimal discounts.
I hope you have a fabulous time and please let me know if you need anymore help!
Best Wishes!
Mandy
