We are planning a 6 day vacation for 2019 and would like to know which week would be best, i.e. less crowded ... end of June, anytime in July, or end of December. My husband is a school principal so we are limited on the times we can visit Thanks so much!

    Hi Amanda!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It's so much fun planning for a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I understand that with limited dates you're able to travel, finding the best time of year to visit Mickey and his friends is important. I'm happy to help you plan your 2019 magical vacation!

My family and I have visited Walt Disney World Resort in each time frame you're considering. In my opinion, because kids will be on summer vacation during the months of June and July and winter break at the end of December, these tend to be a little more crowded times to visit Walt Disney World Resort. The week of Fourth of July and the week leading up to New Year's Eve are popular times for Disney vacations. If I was planning a trip for my family based on your husband's availability, I would choose either the end of June, or the end of July, for a family vacation!

Amanda, even though I mentioned that these are popular times to visit, staying at a Walt Disney Word Resort hotel will put you just steps away from all the magic! Plus, you can use the Complimentary Resort Transportation to easily get to all four theme parks and more!

I'm wishing you an unforgettable vacation!
