Hi!! We are planning our 11 day vacation forr 6/2016 We are thinking about spitting our stay between two resorts. Does that mean we have to book two separate packages? And if so does that mean we have to buy two 5 day park passes instead of the 10?

Hi, Margaret! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

You will need to book each hotel separately under two reservations and you will be given two different confirmation numbers. You can save yourself some money and purchase the 10 day Theme Park ticket instead of two separate five day tickets. You may purchase the Theme Park tickets separately or with either resort package.

During my family's last trip just this past May, we stayed in three separate Walt Disney World Resort hotels. My boys' favorite thing about changing resorts was swimming in three different pools, while my husband enjoyed three different hotel food courts! I enjoyed seeing the different theming of each resort. It almost seemed like three different vacations in one to me! When the time comes to transfer to your new resort, simply contact Bell Services the night before to arrange a time for them to come up to your room and retrieve your items for you the next morning. You may also bring your items to them yourself in the morning if you would prefer. Simply inform them of the next resort where will be staying and they will give you a claim ticket you can use to retrieve your luggage at your next resort. Resort transfers take place in the early afternoon hours, and you should be able to pick up your luggage at Bell Services at your new resort by late afternoon or early evening.

Wishing you and your family a magical vacation, Margaret!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
