We are planning an 11 day vacation to Disneyworld. We plan to do two days (at least) at each park. Do you recommend we do them back to back, or alternate during the 11 day period between parks? Your thoughts would be appreciated!

    Hi Julie,

Eleven days?!!  Lucky you!  I have to say I'm a big fan of alternating the parks you visit.  I always like to start my vacation off in the Magic Kingdom, and I like to end it there too.  I can't think of a more perfect way to start a Disney vacation than by strolling down Main Street USA, and I like to catch one last glimpse of Cinderella Castle before my vacation ends.  This way, too, you can take a few days to survey all of Walt Disney World and then go back and pick and choose what you want to explore further.  You may find that one day at Hollywood Studios is plenty for your crew, while three days in Epcot is a must.  By alternating parks you get to sample everything before settling on your favorites.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
