We are planning a 4day vacation. My family&friends (4adults 6kids)This would be our 1st visit. The kids are ages 4 to 11yrs. What are our options for accomodation(on & off resort)/feeding/parks/transportation & any other info for 1st timers.

    Hi Ukana,

First trips are extra magical in my opinion.  How exciting that yours is in the works.  As for options for accommodations, I'm strong believer in trying to stay on property, if possible in order to fully experience all that Disney has to offer.  By staying on-site, you will be able to make use of Disney transportation (Magical Express) to and from Orlando International Airport, and won't need to rent a car.  In addition, once you are at your resort, you will, again be able to leave the driving to Disney and use it's system of buses, monorails and ferry boats to travel to and from your resort and the theme parks and guest areas.  Disney transportation is free, and convenient, and helps alleviate a lot of planning and stress!  As for accommodations, Disney offers everything from very reasonably priced Value Resorts (our current value favorite is Disney's Pop Century) to Deluxe Resorts and Villas with incredible amenities.  All properties, regardless of category are incredibly well-themed, have wonderful amenities, great swimming pools, activities and dining options.  If you stay on-site, you may consider a package that includes a dining plan.  Again, there are a variety of options and price ranges that are available to suite each family.  I would start by calling the reservations line at 407-W-DISNEY, and speaking with cast member about your travel dates and specific interests, needs and budget.  The folks who staff the reservations line are extremely knowledgable, and will be happy to get you on your way to the Happiest Place on Earth!  Feel free to write back with more questions as your vacation takes shape!  Happy planning!
