Dear Rebecca,
Thanks for reaching out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love your question because trying to strategize the best use of my family's time in the Parks is also important to me! I hate to feel that we've wasted any time being confused about our plan.
Of course, this is just one person's opinion and it may or may not work for your family, but I have found that for my
Magic Kingdom days, I have had great success in focusing one day on exploring Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, and a second day on Liberty Square, Frontierland, and Adventureland. Then, the third day that you have allocated, repeat anything that you loved and want to do again, or anything that you missed on the first time around. This helps to cut down on walking if you are traveling with young children or anyone else who can't walk long distances, and it helps to
organize where you plan to dine during your time in the Magic Kingdom. Be sure that if you use this strategy, that you use
My Disney Experience to line up your FastPass+ experiences to coordinate with this as well.
You can
intermix character meet and greets in between other attractions on all three days. I think that works better especially for children who might not want to wait repeatedly in long lines to meet characters.
Hope that helps to make your trip even more magical!
