we are planning just a day trip to the magic kingdom on a base ticket are we able to leave the park and come back later in the day because we have young ones so they can nap in their own beds because we live in the area?

    Hi Rachel!

Yes, you can leave a theme park in Walt Disney World and return to that same park with a Magic Your Way Ticket. If you have small children, then leaving the park in the middle of the day to rest at is the best advice that I can give you. After the children take a nap, they will be refreshed and ready for more adventuring later that afternoon and evening!  Keep in mind that if you plan to go to the Magic Kingdom during the week of Christmas into New Years that it may close down to new Guests coming in because of reaching capacity so I would not advise you leaving the Magic Kingdom in the middle of the day during that time period.  If you plan on visiting the Magic Kingdom on any other day besides the week of Christmas, then you should not have any issues leaving and coming back in the same day.

I hope that you make some magical memories in the Magic Kingdom on your day trip with your family!
