The DH & I are planning a 3-4 day trip form April 22 - 24 or 25: Questions and help - Do you think it is worth airfare from Indiana and onsite resort costs for 3 days?  Arriving in Orlando around 9AM and leaving Orlando around 9PM

I am a fellow traveler from Indiana and have headed down to Disney for a quick trip many times.  Even though it would be a fast trip the benefits are still great to stay on site.  I think even more so when you are having a short stay.  When you arrive at your resort no matter which one you select you can drop your luggage off for storage and head to the parks. Rooms are not usually ready that early but you will receive a phone text as soon as it is.  When you arrive you will do all the check in necessities and receive the room key card.  When the room is ready they will text you the correct room number and you can go directly to the room without stopping at the front desk again.

On the day of your departure you can again store your luggage and head to the parks. There is no added cost for this and allows you to spend the complete day having fun and not lugging around the bags. Since your flight does not leave until 9:00pm you have the whole day practically to enjoy.  If you needed to change clothes you can do that at the resort when you pick up the bags to head to the airport once again.

Staying at the Disney resorts allows you to enjoy the parks and the property far better then if you were constantly taking transportation from off site.  The Disney bus system is efficient and can get you to any place you need to go. It may take some time but it is free and the buses run constantly.
