Hi, we are planning a 3 day trip to Disney World. We are looking for ideas on how to spend 2.5 days or 3 full days please. Thanks

Welcome to planDisney, Sharon! I'm so excited to help you plan a magical trip to Walt Disney World. With three full days and four incredible parks to choose from, you can absolutely hit all the highlights. Let's build you a fun and balanced 3-day itinerary that gives you the best of everything: rides, shows, characters, snacks, and plenty of Disney magic!

There's no better way to kick off your trip than with a full day at Magic Kingdom. This is where the magic truly begins with Cinderella Castle welcoming you into a land full of classic attractions and timeless charm. Start the day by heading to Fantasyland for must-dos like Peter Pan's Flight, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. These attractions are super popular, so if you can grab Lightning Lane selections, this is a great place to use them.

In Adventureland, hit up Pirates of the Caribbean and Jungle Cruise, and don't forget to grab a refreshing Dole Whip from Aloha Isle. It's a classic Disney snack! Over in Tomorrowland, Space Mountain and the PeopleMover are both fan favorites, and can't-miss attractions for me and my family. Magic Kingdom is also the perfect place to say hello to Mickey Mouse and snap a few pictures! After the sun sets, make sure to grab a spot in front of Cinderella Castle for Happily Ever After, the nighttime fireworks spectacular that will leave you misty-eyed in the best way. It's the perfect grand finale to your first day!

Day two is going to be all about variety and thrills. Start the morning bright and early at Disney's Animal Kingdom, where Flight of Passage in Pandora - The World of Avatar is a must-do. The views are breathtaking, and it's an experience like no other! Then check out Expedition Everest for a thrilling rollercoaster and Kilimanjaro Safaris for a relaxing ride through Disney's incredible animal habitats. After lunch, hop over to Hollywood Studios, which is an easy bus ride away, and dive into the worlds of Star Wars, Toy Story, and more. Be sure to check out the Tower of Terror for a thrilling drop, and catch a showing of Beauty and the Beast: Live On Stage! Wrap up the night with Fantasmic!, a water, fireworks, and character-filled spectacular that's the perfect ending to your action-packed day.

On your final day, take a slower pace and enjoy everything EPCOT has to offer. Start the day with exciting attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Soarin', and Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. EPCOT is also home to my favorite attraction at Walt Disney World: Living with the Land. It's got classic EPCOT vibes, and it gives you a great opportunity to take a relaxing boat ride while learning about our ecosystems! Spend your afternoon wandering World Showcase, where you can snack, sip, and shop your way through 11 different countries. End your night with Luminous: The Symphony of Us, EPCOT's gorgeous new nighttime show that celebrates unity and diversity with stunning visuals, fireworks, and music.

Three days will fly by, but this itinerary helps you maximize your time, experience the best of all four parks, and balance high-energy moments with plenty of room to explore. This is a pretty high-level plan, but I'd love to get into the details with you, so please let me know if you have any more questions about planning the finer points of your trip.

    Have a magical day, Sharon!
