I am planning a 2 day stay at the Pixar hotel in August 2025.I want to check in August5th and check out August7th.I read staying in a Disneyland hotel we can gain 30 minutes early access. Checkin is at 3pm,can I still enter the park early?

    Hi Gina!

Welcome back to planDisney! Thank you so much for continuing to trust us with your Disney vacation planning . We truly love helping guests like you make the most of every magical moment.

I have some wonderful news to share! All guests staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel — including The Disneyland Hotel, the Grand Californian, and Pixar Place — are eligible for Early Entry benefits.

Early Entry allows hotel guests to enter the designated theme park 30 minutes before the official park opening time. Typically, if the park opens at 8:00 AM, you'll be able to enter at 7:30 AM. Just be sure to check the theme park calendar ahead of time, as park hours can vary.

Here’s how Early Entry is scheduled:

Disneyland Park: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
California Adventure: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays

Even if your hotel check-in is later in the day, you can still take advantage of Early Entry on your arrival day! Just park at your hotel and drop off your bags with Bell Services, then head off to the parks and let the magic begin. A Cast Member will confirm your eligibility by scanning your room key or checking your linked reservation, so be sure your hotel reservation is connected to your Disneyland app).

Pro Tip: If you’re heading to Disney California Adventure, one of the easiest ways in is to walk across Disneyland Drive and enter through the Grand Californian Hotel entrance. This will let you out right in Grizzly Peak. For Disneyland Park, consider hopping on the Monorail, which drops you off right in the heart of Tomorrowland — perfect for a speedy start to your adventure!

I hope this helps with your planning, Gina! If you have any more questions or need personalized tips, feel free to reach out to me or any of my fellow planDisney panelists. We’re always happy to add a little extra pixie dust to make your visit unforgettable.

    Have a magical vacation!
