Ahoy there, Elizabeth, and welcome to planDisney! A Very Merrytime Cruise is one of the most magical ways to celebrate the holiday season, so I’m delighted to help you get ready for all the festivities aboard the
Disney Wish.
From what I could uncover, you’re in for a truly jolly celebration at sea! While schedules can always change, it looks like Night 2, after your day in Nassau, will feature a double dose of Disney fun, including both
Pirate Night and Mickey & Minnie’s Holiday Party! It’s the perfect combination of festive cheer and swashbuckling adventure, topped off with fireworks under the stars (weather permitting, of course).
Now, I’ll be honest, even though I’m a proud Gold
Castaway Club member, I’ve never experienced a double party like that, so you’re in for something extra special! Be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before you board so you’ll have the latest schedules, showtimes, and holiday happenings right at your fingertips. Once onboard, it will become your go-to guide for all the magic unfolding each day.
When it comes to planning ahead, I suggest reserving your must-do activities as soon as your online booking window opens. That said, I also like to leave a little room for spontaneity. Each morning onboard, I check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to see if there are any same-day specials or last-minute openings. For example, my daughter always wants to visit
Castaway Ray’s Stingray Adventure at Castaway Cay, so that gets booked first, but I’m just as happy taking advantage of a surprise spa deal or an unexpected onboard activity that catches my eye.
You’ve got so much to look forward to, Elizabeth. If more questions pop up while you’re counting down to your cruise, I hope you’ll sail back to see us here at
planDisney.
SEAson’s greetings and smooth sailing,
Sami
