    Hi. I am planning a 7 day May 2010 trip. We have the flexibility to go any time during the month. When would you recommend going so that we will hit the shortest lines and fewest crowds? Thanks so much for all of your help!!

    Hi Jennifer.    If crowds, lines and even weather are a factor, I would suggest visiting early in the month of May.    Definitely avoid Memorial Day weekend should you choose later in the month since it appears you have the flexibility.

     

    I suggest early May for a few reasons.   First, two years ago we spent a week in early May at Disney and was very pleased with the crowd levels.   Second, unless schedules changes, during mid May Star Wars weekends often are planned (the 2010 dates would not be ready at this time).   Lastly, the weather was just georgeous.   I don't prefer really warm weather and temperatures towards the end of May can start getting warmer and chance of rain could also increase.    I live here in Florida and love the weather until we get towards the end of this month.

     

    So, if you do have the flexibility, I suggest early in May.   Hope this helps!
