In planning “my day” I accidentally put two Parks on the same day. How can I remove one of the parks? I have already selected that Park on one of our other days

Welcome to planDisney, Mary. It's so wonderful that you found us.

As much as I use the Disney Genie Service, I only found out that you could use it to plan 2 parks in advance a month or 2 ago from my good friend Nimmy! Previously, I had only been using it to plan my first park but didn't use it for the park to which I'm hopping. And oh boy, it's a game changer!

Let me tell you about my experience of correcting the issue you're describing. To get the Disney Genie Service to make suggestions for only 1 park after you've accidentally (or even purposely) told the service you'd be going to 2 parks, I find that a little bit of a reset helps. To do this, click on the 3 horizontal lines (☰) at the bottom right-hand corner of the My Disney Experience mobile app. Then, click "My Disney Genie Day" and "My Day" at the top of the next screen. Select "Change Day," select the day you'd like to make changes, and now, find and select "Edit My Selections," which should be under the Walt Disney World banner. This will be almost like starting over. Follow the prompts and select the experiences you're interested in for the park you're going to visit. While it may remember some of your previous selections, when complete, the service should revert to the selections for just that 1 park.

Mary, just remember that the selections you make through the Disney Genie Service are not reservations. If it suggests that you make a Lightning Lane reservation, a reservation for an experience, or an advanced dining reservation, and you think it's a good idea, make sure you make those reservations yourself. For most experiences and advanced dining reservations, you can reserve them 60 days ahead of time. For Lightning Lanes through the Disney Genie+ Service or Individual Lightning Lanes (both separate purchases), you'd reserve them the day of the experience. But don't worry, even if you don't want to make these extra purchases, the included Disney Genie Service will make some great suggestions of activities and experiences and when to experience them to maximize your time in the parks!
