Planning my daughter's family party sweet sixteen in July 2026. Looking for the best family package to stay on site for 6 people

    Howdy Donna!

Welcome to planDisney. One of the things I love most about Walt Disney World is celebrating magical milestones, and I know your daughter will love celebrating her sweet 16 with Mickey and his pals. I have a few tips I would love to share with you, but for now, let’s get to your question so we can begin planning.

I see that you are looking for the best family package for a summer visit. The first place I would visit is the Walt Disney World website, where you can find Special Offers, Packages, and More. There are always great specials, depending on the time of year you visit. As of now, I see specials for up to 30% off rooms and the popular FREE Dining plans for Kids (ages 3 to 9) with the purchase of adult dining plans (ages 10 and up). The best way to find a vacation package for your family is to build one on the website. Start by visiting the Walt Disney World website, and at the top, you will see Build Your Vacation. Enter your dates and the number of guests, including children’s ages, then click View Rates. This will take you to a list of all the available resorts that fit your criteria. Once you select a resort, you can choose your room. With 6 guests, you will need at least 2 bedrooms. Next, you will choose the number of days you need park tickets for, along with any add-ons such as the Park Hopper, which allows you to visit multiple parks in one day. After that, you can add a dining plan if you wish. Finally, you will be able to add on the last items, such as Memory Maker, ground transportation, and a travel protection plan, if you like.

Now that you have your vacation booked and ready to go, I would like to share a couple of things to make your trip even more magical. At check-in, ask a friendly cast member for a birthday pin for your daughter. You can even write something special, such as “Sweet 16," on it if you like. Many restaurants may ask if anyone is celebrating a special occasion, and she might just find herself sprinkled with a little pixie dust.

Donna, I hope this helps your family plan for your vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth. Please tell your daughter that everyone here at planDisney wishes her a special Sweet 16th and hopes that all of her magical dreams come true. Please stop by before your vacation if you have any further questions; my fellow panelist and I will be happy to assist.

    See ya real soon,
    Robert
