    Hello! We are planning my daughter's 2nd birthday and want to make sure we see fireworks. We do not want to do the Christmas celebration- so can you confirm there will be fireworks either December 20th or December 22nd?

    I'm so happy to hEAR you'll be celebrating your daughter's 2nd birthday in The Most Magical Place on Earth! Walt Disney World Resort is the perfect backdrop for any celebration, and especially to commemorate a birthday for your tiny princess.

    Every princess deserves fireworks on her birthday, am I right? While there are no Park Entertainment schedules out yet for the month of December, I expect Guests will be able to enjoy Magic Kingdom Park's newest nighttime spectacular, Disney Enchantment, each evening. I encourage you to keep an eye on the five-day Park Hours Calendar for the week you'll be visiting to see what time you'll be able to enjoy the show on the 20th and the 22nd. 

    With a December visit, you'll not only be at Walt Disney World in the midst of all the holiday festivities, but also during The World's Most Magical Celebration, to celebrate the 50th Anniversary. All four theme parks will be joining in on the fun, and here are just a few of the awesome extras you'll get to enjoy during your trip:

    The 50th Anniversary celebration begins October 1 and lasts for 18 months. It's going to be amazing!

    With a birthday princess in your travel party, you might want to consider ordering a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake to enjoy at one of your meals! Once you secure an Advance Dining Reservation for a participating Table Service restaurant, simply call the Walt Disney World Cake Ordering Hotline at (407) 827-2253 to add a specialty Celebration Cake order to your reservation. Participating restaurants at Magic Kingdom Park include: Be Our Guest Restaurant, Cinderella's Royal Table, The Crystal Palace, Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen, Liberty Tree Tavern, The Plaza Restaurant, and  Tony's Town Square Restaurant.
