Hey Howdy Hey Tatiana and welcome to planDisney!
How exciting it must be for your daughter to celebrate her big day in the most Magical Place on Earth! She is in for a real treat with a birthday celebration in Walt Disney World. As a Girldad of 3, we have taken our girls to Walt Disney World at various ages. I would love to give you my recommendations for places to stay for your upcoming vacation. Let's get to it!
My top recommendation for Disney Resorts Collection hotels would have to be
Disney's Art of Animation Resort. This resort is a value-category resort but honestly, with all that this resort has to offer, I feel it is mislabeled! This resort is a celebration of all things Disney animation on full display throughout the resort. Each area is themed with a specific Disney or Pixar movie in mind and leave it to the Imagineers to bring this concept to life. The resort is themed beautifully and statues of our favorite characters are on display throughout the resort.
The Big Blue Pool will give you another huge reason to skip the parks and spend some time in the largest resort pool on Disney property. The food court is amazing and you now have the option to take
Disney Skyliner to either Disney's Hollywood Studios, EPCOT or just visit another resort. I cannot say enough about the resort itself and how much our girls loved it when they were around 5 and 7 years old.
There are so many other resorts to check into as well.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is phenomenal. Having the animals roam around the savannah right outside your room is such a unique and special way to wake up or spend the afternoon and evening just enjoying. Over at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is also another great pick our girls loved. Not only is this resort beautiful, but you also get a chance to stay in the
Royal Guest Rooms. What better way to celebrate a birthday than surrounded by Royal Ellegance throughout your hotel room?
Tatiana, there really is no bad choice no matter which resort you choose. They all have something special that so many connect to on a personal level that is different than others. The resorts listed above are my top choice and where our family holds treasured memories of when our girls were younger. I hope you enjoy the process of researching each resort. Feel free to check them out on YouTube and watch video walk-throughs. That helped us out a ton in the past when making decisions. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach back out and let us know, we are always happy to help!
Happy planning,
Nick
