Hi there, friend! How exciting that you’re already in the planning process for your daughter’s birthday. I know I have a mood board for my son’s birthday in February, so I definitely understand the need to get the ball rolling when preparing for your little one’s big day! Let’s go ahead and see what
birthday celebrations we can assist you with today!
For
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, you can book a reservation up to 60 days in advance. Since we’re currently in the month of May, we’re still a bit too far away from that booking window. You’ll want to set reminders and alarms for July 20! As soon as July 20 arrives, you can go ahead and book through the
Disneyland app or website!
While we wait for that booking window to open, let’s brainstorm some fun ways for your soon-to-be 5-year-old to celebrate in the parks! Grabbing a complimentary celebration button at City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. (or at any retail shop) would be the perfect way to start her morning. Wearing this button is sure to let everyone around her know it’s her special day!
In addition to the booking window, have you given any thought to
table-service dining? Whenever my family is celebrating a birthday in the parks, we like to mark the special occasion when booking a reservation through the app or website. We celebrated my son’s birthday earlier this year at
Storytellers Cafe with a character dining dinner, and he was grinning from ear to ear when he was surprised with a cupcake adorned with a candle. Goofy and Donald swung by to clap along as we sang to him. I often find him recalling that memory whenever possible! To make table-service dining even more special, you can also pre-order a
Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake at participating restaurants. These specialty cakes are a great way to jazz up the end of a meal.
If princesses are up her alley, then look no further than
Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at the Grand Californian! This is the perfect way for her to interact with various princesses. I’ve found this to be a great way to beat the queues you’d typically find at Royal Hall in Fantasyland. You’ll also be able to feast on delectable delights with your daughter, which I’m sure will have her beaming with joy.
Throughout the park day, to create even more of a special vibe, why not let her pick out her must-do attractions? Giving her the opportunity to help create the itinerary will definitely make it feel like the best day ever.
Thank you so much for visiting planDisney! I’m crossing my fingers that your daughter has a fabulous 5th birthday. If you have any more questions or need more ideas for your park days, planDisney is here for you!
