    I am planning my daughter 1st birthday celebration, and I just do not know if Disney will be a good option for her. What can a1 yr old baby do? There are nap/resting areas for her?Any special even or packages for 1yr old celebration also willbe her1st time

    Hi Karen!

    You have a brilliant idea for having your daughter's first birthday celebration at Walt Disney World! You may even start a tradition with her. Can you imagine having a picture of her every year in front of the Cinderella Castle?  

    Walt Disney World is a special place for every age and this includes infants. Some of my most treasured photographs and memories are of my children as infants in Walt Disney World.

    There are so many things for little ones to do at Walt Disney World. Here is a link for Attractions at Walt Disney World without height requirements. I find it easiest to set the filter for each park individually and then set the "Age Interest" filter to preschoolers and the "Height" filter to any height. 

    There are wonderful, no - mind blowing Baby Care Centers in each park. Your daughter may like to be rocked to sleep there. The baby care centers are also equipped to let your daughter toddle around and play in a calm and temperature controlled environment. 

    Below are some fun ideas for your daughter's special birthday visit:

    • Get a "1st Visit" button at Guest Services
    • Have a haircut at Harmony Barber Shop
    • Have a Character Meal (or lots!)
    • Dress her up as a Princess or her favorite character
    • Order a special celebration cake to be delivered at a meal
