DH and I are planning a date night during a Jan 2013 trip with extended family. We are looking for more of an adventure than a romantic night. DH wants to have dinner at Rose & Crown. Any suggestion for something to do after? We are open to leaving Epc

    Hi Jess,

Date nights at Walt Disney World are the best!  I'm so glad that you and your husband are setting aside time to spend together during your upcoming trip.

After dinner at Rose & Crown, you could watch Illuminations together from anywhere around World Showcase.  Perhaps you'd like to get a glass of champagne in France and watch the nighttime spectacular from there.  Of course, the ultimate Illuminations experience can be had by renting a private boat from the dock at Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts.  That's a truly memorably experience that can be reserved by calling (407) WDW-PLAY.

If you're looking for musical entertainment, head to Jellyrolls on the nearby Boardwalk.  If the two of you would enjoy some shopping and dancing, then Downtown Disney should be your destination.  The World of Disney Store is my favorite place to shop there but there are so many choices.  Bongo's is the place to kick up your heels, particularly if you enjoy music with Latin flair.  Or, if you're looking for a more quiet activity, catch a performance of La Nouba or a movie at the newly updated AMC theaters.

Let us know if you need any more suggestions.  We've got plenty!

    Have fun,
    Jill
