We are planning to have a Crystal Palace breakfast reservation before park opening. How soon are we allowed into magic kingdom Before hand so I can work out transport to the park. Also what’s the latest time we can book the breakfast before park opening?

    Hello Lauren!

Welcome to planDisney! The Crystal Palace is a happy and sweet celebration of friendship and food. My family always makes lovely memories here and the breakfast buffet is one of the best times to go!

Breakfast is served from 8:00 AM to 10:45 AM. During the week of your visit, it looks like Magic Kingdom Park opens at 9:00 AM with Early Theme Park Entry at 8:30 AM.  I would aim to be at the Park entrance at least 30 minutes before your dining reservation and look for the Cast Members at the dining reservation entrance. This will be where your reservation is reviewed and your ticket scanned for entry. The latest time you can book the breakfast before the Park opens depends on what you consider to be the Park opening- Early Theme Park Entry or Regular Park Opening time?  If you want to avoid crowds, then 8:20 AM or 8:25 AM could work. Reservations seem to be available between 5 to 15 minutes apart. I would try to book the earliest time so that I can be done before the crowds grow.

If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and are using complimentary Resort transportation know that it usually begins about 45 minutes before Magic Kingdom Park opens. If you are seeing that it may take too long I would consider using the Minnie Van Service. This private car service can be requested through the Lyft app and the price fluctuates based on the distance that it needs to travel. The operating times vary as well but I have had success using it to get to an early morning reservation. The benefit of this service is that the Minnie Van can drop you off very close to the entrance of Magic Kingdom Park. It will get you closer than a standard rideshare service.

I hope this helps and you have a lovely time!

    Happy Planning!
