We are planning a cruise with toddler (2.5 yrs) in May. In regards to the "It's a Small World Nursery" - is this a place where we can stay and play with her? Or is it strictly like a daycare where we have to drop her off and leave?

    Ahoy, Melanie!

Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited to hEAR that you're planning a Disney Cruise with your toddler this May! Disney Cruise Line makes Traveling with Little Ones so easy and fun! We began cruising with my son when he was 6 months old. It has been so fun watching him discover and explore different aspects of the ships with each Disney Cruise line adventure.

"it's a small world" nursery! is a whimsical space for the smallest of cruisers to enjoy! This is more like a daycare: you will be able to drop your daughter off at the nursery for her to play with the incredible Youth Counselors while you enjoy time on your own! But don't worry; if you want to take a peek of your little princess while she's having a blast, there is a window that you can look through unnoticed! Due to space being limited, I recommend booking nursery time before your voyage sets sail, when your advance booking window opens. During embarkation day, "it's a small world" nursery! will have Open House hours. This will be an excellent time for you to visit with your little one in order to show her around and talk with the Youth Counselors about any questions or concerns you may have!

Melanie, I'm so excited for you to experience cruising with your family! If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to come back and visit us again!
