Hi Heather!
BRAVO! You are working your way towards that Gold Castaway Club level...and introducing others to Disney Cruise Line along the way. Your
Disney Fantasy sailing is sure to live up to the ship's name as a fantastic experience. There are going to be so many amazing activities onboard, and I hope that y'all plan on making many magical memories together.
Since you have two staterooms and Guests with different Castaway Club levels, here’s how it will work. The advance booking window is determined by the Guest with the highest
Castaway Club level in each stateroom. So the solo Guest who is new to Disney cruising would not be able to book at the same time as yours under the current configuration. As Silver Castaway Club members, your family will be able to book your
Port Adventures,
Palo reservations,
spa treatments and other activities on the 90th day prior to your Sail Date. Meanwhile, the solo Guest would have to wait until 75 days prior to sailing.
But IF you are paying for both staterooms and it won't mess up the pricing on your reservation to switch who stays in what stateroom, the easy solution is to put one of the Guests who has cruised before on the stateroom reservation currently showing the solo Guest. That can even be a child! Then everyone's Port Adventures and activities can be done 90 days in advance of your Embarkation Day. Just be advised that under this scenario, if this Guest didn’t actually stay in that stateroom, then it would mean that Key to the World card would be keyed for the wrong stateroom. Then you would need to check with
Guest Services to assist you in getting the key issue resolved.
The alternative is to leave the reservation for the two staterooms exactly as it is. You would go ahead and book the activities and Port Adventures for the Guests in the Silver Castaway Club stateroom. When the 75 day advance booking window opens for the first time Disney cruiser,
contact Disney Cruise Line to align his or her activities with your own. Most of the time, there are plenty of Port Adventures and reservations for dining and spa treatments still available.
Even if you consider this booking to be a single reservation, make sure that both stateroom reservation numbers are
linked together just to ensure you all will be seated together for
rotational dining. We want nothing but smooth sailing for you as you introduce someone new to sailing with Disney Cruise Line to their first voyage with Captain Mickey!
Cruise back to planDisney if you have more questions. Wishing you a magical voyage!
