Ahoy, Stacey!
Thanks so much for sailing back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another fantastic question! Your upcoming Disney Cruise aboard the Disney Fantasy is in less than one year! As Captain Mickey would say, "Oh Boy!" It's never too early to start thinking of all the fun you'll have onboard as you set sail to paradise.
One of my favorite things to do while cruising with Disney is to watch the incredible Broadway-style shows playing throughout the voyage. I'm so excited for you that you'll be able to see
Disney's Aladdin - A Musical Spectacular while onboard! The live entertainment seen during your cruise in the
Walt Disney Theatre typically lasts just about under an hour. If you were to see the production of Aladdin on Broadway, it would be 2 hours and 30 minutes worth of musical magic! The production onboard will be a much more concise version of the beloved story of Aladdin, whereas the Broadway and/or Broadway tour will be longer and have more music and dancing for you and your family to enjoy. Since Disney's Aladdin - A Musical Spectacular will be playing during your voyage and included in your cruise fare, I think it would be really neat to see BOTH productions! This way, you can be taken to "A Whole New World" with Aladdin and Princess Jasmine twice!
Stacey, if you have any other questions while making plans for your upcoming cruise, please don't hesitate to come back and visit us again!
