Hello, Julianna! I see you’re planning a
Disney Cruise to Mexico. Your Mouseketeer is in for a wonderful time!
The minimum age to sail aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship is 6 months, so you won’t have to leave your little one behind. If you depart from a U.S. port and return to the same U.S. port, passports are not required for U.S. citizens. All you need is an
original or copy of your state-issued birth certificate AND government-issued photo ID – your little one won’t need a government-issued photo ID, but the adults will.
Don’t worry about packing your diaper genie or playpen because Disney Cruise Line has you covered. You’ll find complimentary
Pack-n-Play portable cribs, diaper disposal containers, bottle warmers, and more! All you have to do is ask your stateroom attendant. Your dining team can also provide your Mouseketeer with infant-friendly foods. When my son was small, he loved applesauce. Our dining service team had a big bowl waiting for him every evening when we arrived at dinner.
If you’re looking for a little grownup time,
“it’s a small world nursery” provides the tiniest sailors quality care in a fun, hands-on environment. There’s even a quiet area for your little one to nap. Nursery times can be reserved beforehand or once on board. Space is limited, so if this is something you are interested in, I’d book a few hours when your booking window opens. You can find that date on your reservation page.
I hope that clears up any questions and that you are prepared for smooth sailing ahead. Julianna, please sail back to planDisney if you have any additional planning questions.
SEAS the adventure,
Tracie
